Though there is so much hype about the IT industry and its employment potential, It is accepted that the best jobs are still being bagged by engineers. The others who get lucrative openings are those with MCA-Master of computer Applications. Of course, an ideal combination would be an engineering degree combined with an MCA. For those who have not gone into the engineering streaming, MCA is still a good option regardless of what one has done at graduation level.

The MCA programme is inclined more towards Application Development and thus has more emphasis on latest programming language and tools to develop better and faster applications.

As the IT and the software industry are dynamic and fast growing, all the programmes are designed keeping in view the requirements of industry. Our programmes aim at thorough understanding of the fundamentals of computing among the students so as to make them competitive.

Currently we offer 3 years fulltime Master in Computer Application (MCA) programme approved by AICTE and affiliated to Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT), Orissa.

Intake : The intake capacity of the institute in MCA is 60 seats per Year.

Basic Qualification
Pass or appearing in 2009, for the Bachelor's Degree Examination of three years duration in any discipline from any University or equivalent recognized by UGC and having passed in Mathematics at 10+2 level.Business mathematics at +2 level are not permitted.
OR
Pass or appearing in 2009, for the Bachelor's Degree Examination of three years duration in any discipline from any University of Orissa or equivalent recognized by UGC with mathematics as one of the subject.

Admission Procedure
Candidates qualified in JEE(O) or any tests approved by the BPUT / Govt. of Odisha are eligible to take admission into MCA course of Srusti Academy of Management.
